Aliens and the Mayan 2012 calendar are popular subjects in movies and pop culture right now. Part of it involves treads, part of it has a time factor in it. Will we be destroyed in 2012. Do we as a world have only two more Christmases and New Year’s Eves to celebrate?
The Bible has several places in it where the end is discussed. To discuss this here would be foolish, the subject is entirely too broad to pin down in one, or even a series of blogs. There are college and seminary courses along with thousands of books on the subject. There are entire ministries built on this subject. Opinions are widespread and often confusing.
But, it has been speculated whether aliens will be involved in the Biblical end-times, as well as whether as the Mayan calendar has predicted the end of the world. All I know is in Mark 13, Jesus stated that only God knew when Jesus would return to Earth for the Rapture. My question is, if Jesus didn’t know when He would return, how in the world would the Mayans have a clue when it would occur?
